Terms of use
The Interior Designer Handbook publishes reference information about the interior design profession in the United States for general information only, and nothing on the site is legal, financial, tax or career advice for a specific reader. Statutes, board fees, exam fees, dues and software prices change; the retrieval date of every figure is recorded in the site's source list, and readers should confirm a figure with the cited source before paying a fee or signing a contract.
Copyright and quotation
Article text, tables and captions on the Interior Designer Handbook are the copyright of the publisher from 2026, and readers may quote short passages with a link to the source page for commentary, research or teaching. Republishing a full article, a full table or the plain-text index at /llms.txt without written permission is not allowed. Figures taken from public sources remain the property of those sources, and the site names them so that readers can go to the original.
External links and third-party content
Links to statutes, boards, credentialing bodies, associations and vendors are provided because they are the sources of the figures on the site, and the publisher has no control over those sites, their availability or their later changes. A price or rule quoted from a vendor or association page reflects that page on the retrieval date and may differ from the price or rule a reader is later offered.
Limits of liability
The publisher makes no warranty that any figure on the site is current on the day a reader relies on it, and accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of the site's content, to the extent permitted by law. Errors reported through the contact page are corrected under the editorial policy.
Changes to these terms
These terms are dated September 13, 2026 and may be updated in place; the date at the top of the page changes when the terms change, and continued use of the site after a change means acceptance of the revised terms.
