Privacy policy

The Interior Designer Handbook collects two kinds of personal data: the standard web server log written when a page is requested, and the email messages readers send to info@interior-designer.us.com. The site runs no user accounts, no comment system, no newsletter, no advertising network and no third-party analytics script.

What the server log records

The web server that hosts the Interior Designer Handbook records the IP address of the requesting device, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page if the browser sends one, and the browser's user-agent string, for every request, and keeps that log for a limited period for security and capacity monitoring before deleting it. The log is not combined with any other data set and is not used to build reader profiles.

What happens to email

Email sent to the editorial team is stored in the publisher's mailbox for as long as the correspondence is relevant to a correction or a topic, and is not shared with any third party, added to any list, or used for marketing. A reader who wants an email thread deleted can ask in the same thread.

Cookies and third-party services

The site itself sets no cookies; the separate cookie page explains that position and what a hosting provider's technical cookie could look like. Pages contain links to external sources such as statutes, board sites and vendor price pages, and each of those sites applies its own privacy policy once a reader follows the link. The site loads fonts, scripts and images from its own domain only.

Questions and rights

Readers can ask what data the publisher holds about them, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use by writing to info@interior-designer.us.com, and the editorial team answers within 10 business days. This policy is dated September 13, 2026 and will be updated in place if the site's data handling changes.
